SEMINAR ON HOW TO FACE BOARD

 EXAMINATION WITH CONFIDENCE

          On 22nd Jan. Sonari H. S. School, Sibsagarh joined hands with the eminent educationists and counsellors to conduct the seminar on the topic, "How to face the examination with confidence" for Xll standard students.

         To crack the board examination requires hard work and strategy was the mantra given by most of the speakers. Youngsters' mental state turns to worse as the exam. phobia and stress creep deep into the mind.

      Mrs. Madhumita Kurmi, one of the experts of the panel and clinical psychologist hit hard on the problem of sleepless nights, gruelling coaching classes and parents expectations have transformed the life of youngsters to a nightmare. She also discussed the need for having a proper revision schedule and memory sheets containing the key concepts. Concentration in the classroom must be there and realisation of one's own potential without keeping false aspirations.

         Dr. Raghu Prasad Das, another expert from AHSEC gave tips to tackle the examination by knowing the weightage, kind of questions being asked and more emphasis on application-based questions. Afterwards the Principal of Sarojini Public School Dr. A.K. Gogoi gave some health tips like avoiding coffee, cold drinks, junk food or late-night studies. He also discussed the importance of regular exercise or yoga and early-morning walk to distress the mind.

      In the concluding session, the interaction with the panel of experts helped the students to overcome their anxieties. Moreover, it could bring a smile on the agonized faces.
